We are very excited to begin this new adventure into the world of blogging. Or, as the experts call it: social media. We recognize the importance and value it brings to our clients—present and future and to our team.
Our primary goal for this blog is to provide useful information to you, our merchant clients. We’ll give ongoing updates about our products and services, as well as information that could help your business. We’ll also watch the industry, and update you on important issues or changes that might affect you, your business and your customers.
We hope this blog will give you an opportunity to get to know us a little better. To help with that, we will be sharing various aspects of Summit: who we are, what we do, how we operate, and such. We’ll discuss our different departments and give a brief overview of what their department does, and how they help with your account. When we bring on new staff members, we’ll introduce them here.
We also plan to use this platform to stay in touch with our team members, particularly our Sales Consultants who work out in the field. We’ll share sales tips and motivational material to help them succeed in their important role.
From time to time, we’ll also use this blog to promote our products and services to potential Summit clients—those coming to our site to learn more about who we are, what we have to offer and how it can impact their business.
If you are familiar with blogging and social media, you know that it’s not just about talking, but also involves “listening” and discussion. So we want you to be involved as well. We invite you to post any questions, comments or concerns you may have and we’ll work to address them…either publicly or one-on-one with you. If there’s a problem that you cannot get resolved, just let us know. If you have compliments about one of our team members, this is a good place to let us know. We are ready to “talk” with you.
